Picture
Wide open spaces in Iowa fed my creativity growing up. Feeling the energy of the big skies, massive blowing winds and the bending of crops over the rolling hills drew me to landscapes. My representational & impressionist style is generated by strong colors & bold brushstrokes. Today my creative adventures take me to Ireland 6-8 weeks each year. During this time I have a yearly solo exhibition, walk the land of my ancestors and glean amazing photographs and watercolors as inspiration from the Emerald Isle. My work hangs in both public and private collections the United States, Ireland, England, Norway and Germany.
