ALWCA MEMBER SHOWCASE

Corinna Nicole

Picture
Corinna Nicole is a visual artist whose emphasis is in painting and drawing. Born 1985 in Germany, she now lives and works in Madison, Alabama. In 2008, she received her B.A. in Art at the University of Montevallo, and in 2011 she completed her M.F.A. in Art Practice at UC Berkeley. Corinna has taught Visual Thinking and Foundation Drawing courses at UC Berkeley as well as the University of Alabama Huntsville. Her art ranging in style, medium, and genre, Corinna finds it difficult to sum up what her art is about or influenced by. Finding her niche has been a never-ending quest, which seems to be what keeps her exploring. Although she sometimes dreams of being a full-time artist, Corinna has found an unexpected career in banking where she is now a Training Specialist. When she’s not at work or in her studio, she loves tending to her plants, working on creative projects around her home, and traveling to new destinations
